One of the main ways we fund our work at Wonderland is through Patreon! If you are interested in becoming a member, here is what we are offering you in return:

Our online content focuses on the following areas: building intentional community, invasive species management, beaver-based restoration work and educational tutorials, videos, articles and interviews.

As a Wonderland Patron member you will receive the above mentioned online content, invitations to workshops and social events, gifts and access to our printable zines.

Our upcoming 2026 Patreon events include:

Painting with natural paints workshop on July 25th. This workshop will take place in Horner Park, Chicago, but the paints will all be made from plants wild crafted by fellow Wonderlander and forager, Natalie Evans.

A Wild Picnic at the land on October 10th. Natalie will prepare a meal and beverages with ingredients from Wonderland, and Jeff Boland-Prom from the Illinois Beaver Alliance and Wonderland elder, will share his knowledge about beavers as we tour our BDAs (beaver dam analogs).

Hike and skate! This winter we will open up Wonderland for Patreon members to hike, ice skate and get warm by a fire with hot chocolate. We’ll announce the date when our ponds are frozen and ready to skate. 

You can also join our Patreon without a paid membership. We publish free information about our restoration days and other events, reflections about our work and late releases of some of our older paid materials.

Also, we offer free events that are open to the public at the land. Our public events can be found here, on our Patreon and our Insta.
