Fall Recap
Fall is flying by! Here is a recap of what we have been up to at the land these past few months.
Eggplant dancing under the Full Moon Light
In early October we had our 4th annual WonderFest, our social campout. This year we had some lovely workshops and classes that connected us to ourselves, each other, and the land, along with a costume dance party on Saturday night! and time to relax and enjoy each other’s company.
Reciprocity Table at WonderFest
We had two workdays in October and one this past weekend. We filled potholes on our main roads, we cleared around our new trees and continued creating deadhedges out of honeysuckle and buckthorn. Friend of the land, Jeff, has continued helping us raise the water table and stop leaks on our ponds, and Tom, our local ecologist friend, helped us prepare for a controlled burn that will happen in spring. Our beloved volunteers cleared the kids area and hauled gravel with us. And this last workday we organized our tools and supplies!

Planting Hazelnuts
In these challenging times around the world and in our community, we are envisioning hope as we see people coming together to resist and protect the possibility of bringing forth more life. To us, taking care of the land is a part of practicing hope, and we want to give a deep and heartfelt thank you to everyone who comes out to the land to help us take care of and restore the ecosystems!
Restoring our Waterways
Vanessa made this piece of art for our volunteers. These prints are available to all our volunteers and will be available at our next work day on December 14th. We hope to see you there!
