Restoration Day - Lammas Celebration & Learn a New Skill!

Join our next Restoration Day on Saturday August 1st, from 10am to 4pm
This restoration day we will be celebrating Lammas/Lughnasadh with a feast at lunch and by taking up a new skill!

As Lugh is the god of many skills, we will take this moment to develop a new one by focusing on off grid solutions to tree care and trail stewarding!

We will explore different ways to take care of trees when you don’t have access to water and trail maintenance without power tools. The day will include a scythe demo and also a hands on workshop about taking care of hand tools with Tom Simpson, Senior Ecologist at the MCCD

Do you have a skill to share in this area? Let us know ahead of time!
Please RSVP by Thursday July 30th. Lunch will be provided.

See you at the land!
