Spring at Wonderland

Spring is keeping us busy at Wonderland and we wanted to share some of the things we have been working on!

We had a table at the @tsjchicago where we not only shared materials about Wonderland but also of movements we support such as #stopline5 and #stopquantum - thanks for including us! We hope to join more events like this in the future!

We have been working on a new fully accessible area which will also be a memorial for a dear friend of our community @chitownblackbeard ❤️ We have been pulling honeysuckle stumps and making sure it is beautiful and enjoyable for all!

Now that the ice has melted and the temperatures have risen a bit we have been able to focus on our waterways and wetlands again. Removing invasive brush, pacifying the water flow and we even found a big leak that we have been working on for months!

As you all know, this year we are taking things gentler since everyone is at capacity, and we are making more space for our community members and focusing on our private areas a bit more.

However, we have a couple of events open to the public coming up: a Grief Retreat and a Restoration Day. We will share more details soon!

We hope everyone is doing well and to see you at the land soon!
